Eleanor Jane Salter, Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist Nurse at GHC with 35 years’ experience working across Cardiology, Cath Labs and in Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Georgia Seddon, Physiotherapy Lead Cardiac Rehabilitation at GHC with over 10 years as a Physiotherapist supporting individuals back to strength and fitness following illness or injury.

This session will detail the provision of Cardiac Rehabilitation across Gloucestershire. We will cover referral criteria and detail the core components of the cardiac rehabilitation programme.

We are passionate about supporting people back to a full a life as possible and enabling individuals to make healthier choices to reduce their risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Service achieved Green Certification in 2024 for quality outcomes in the National Audit. The session will also provide an update on advances on Heart Failure Rehabilitation.
