Welcome to this Network for Practices ‘bite-size’ workshop/webinar. Recent events have caused for primary care organisations to recognise the need for clear, effective and current planning around their process and people resilience. The management of organisation resilience is an ongoing challenge and a key requirement and skill of any partnership/practice manager. This ‘bite-size’ session will enable delegates to develop
appropriate resilience understanding and processes relevant to their organisational profile and need.
Course Content
This session is provided in four parts, ideal for consuming greater understanding of contingency planning and applying – the parts concern:
Part One: What is the need for resilience and what are the risks associated to poor resilience approaches?
Part Two: What are we to consider in practice when thinking ‘resilience’?
Part Three: How do we best formulate an effective and clear ‘resilience’ plan considerate of operational effectiveness and workforce wellbeing?
Part Four: How do we best embed effective resilience into the organisation fabric and ways.?
Learning Outcomes
The workshop intends that on the conclusion of the session, each delegate will:
• Be better positioned to assess their resilience planning/needs.
• Be better informed on the principles that can be applied to enhance approaches relevant to process and workforce resilience planning.
• Better understand the need for effective resilience planning, appropriate to the risks of the organisation.
• Better positioned to develop an effective resilience plan.
• Be more confident around the exercising and implementing of such plans.
This workshop is suitable for those individuals who have the responsibility within organisations to manage risk and resilience. Of value also to operational managers who apply day-to-day operational decisions.
