It is common practice when assuring the security of information to nominate a senior individual in an organisation as responsible. This role is
often referred to as the ‘SIRO’ (Senior Information Risk Owner). This session sets out what the role of the SIRO within a primary care setting
and the key activities the SIRO needs to ensure are in place.
