Leadership Workshop – Getting the best out of your team

• Morning session: 09:30 – 12:30
• Afternoon session: 13:15 – 16:15
The same session will be repeated, so you will only need to sign up for one session. Everyone is welcome to attend the lunch which will be provided at 12:30.
The Training Hub and LMC are excited to offer a workshop, facilitated by The Development People, that has been specifically designed for leaders in general practice. It is a great opportunity to take some time away from the day job and invest in yourself, and therefore your team. Whether you are experienced or new to role, you will gain new insights into how to maximise your leadership effectiveness and skills.
The training will focus on:
• Performance vs engagement – the importance of this and how to achieve it
• Motivating and inspiring your team to perform to their best (even if they have been around forever!)
• Having even more effective 1:1s with your team • Making difficult conversations much easier
• Coaching skills The workshop will be engaging, insightful, and provide you with tools to take away.
It also offers the chance to catch up with peers in similar roles and share ideas. It is suitable for anyone who has people responsibility. The Training Hub and LMC request a £20 contribution for each attendee. Unfortunately, funding is limited and there have been issues with non-attendance at previous funded training sessions. Please note that by expressing interest in the training, there is commitment to ensure attendance.
