Minor Injuries: Assessment & Management in Primary Care
6th February 2024 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

The Training Directory includes a host of training courses both provided by the NHS and private providers, while those provided by the NHS subscribed to NHS standards and are Free, many of the privately provided courses are not Free and the ICB and Primary Care Training Hub are not in a position to endorse or verify the quality of those courses, but wishes to make this information available within the Directory for users to make their own choices.
Please also note that minor injuries are not considered a core General Medical Service (GMS), so individuals and practices may wish to consider the suitability of any such course, in reference to their population health needs.
Whether Minor Injury care is commissioned in Primary Care or not patients will often present first at their GP practice. This 2-day course offers a comprehensive foundation in minor injury assessment and treatment options to enable practitioners to give the best care, advice and referral pathways to their patients.
