This 2-day course is open to all practitioners who consult children in Primary Care, Minor Illness Centres and Urgent Care/Hubs.

The course covers a wide range of paediatric minor illness presentations delivered in a clinical scenario format, backed up with sessions on developmental milestones, paediatric specific history taking, the acutely unwell child ad the journey from unwell at home to General Practice appointment to hospital referral.

Day 1- 27th January 2025 + Day 2 – 10th February 2025 – 9am -4pm on Microsoft Teams.

This course can be used an an update course but also covers the skills and competencies needed to increase confidence and competence in those practitioners who find consulting children a challenge or who are new to this area of minor illness management.
