This free educational session is open to all primary care staff in the Southwest. It is particularly suitable for Physios, Nurses, Paramedics, GPs, GP Trainees and OTs.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the anatomy of abdominal wall
  • Understand why diastasis happens and who is more at risk of it
  • Learn how to assess it and what’s important in this assessment
  • Feel confident with appropriate exercises and exercise prescription
  • Understand when to refer to pelvic health physio
