NHS Gloucestershire (the ICB) are funding places for spirometry training in Spring 2024. We expect delegates to attend with the understanding that they will progress to assessment and certification with the Association for Respiratory Technology and Physiology (ARTP – the recognised holder of national quality-assured standards for spirometry). Delegates may also register for the training if they are currently ARTP certified, but wish to refresh their skills.

Included in this funding is:

1. a full day of face-to-face training at Churchdown Community Association (GL3 2JH), on either Friday 15th March or Thursday 25th April.

Numbers will be capped at 30 delegates per day, so we will be allocating places on a first-come-first-served basis.

2. Two virtual half-day follow-up sessions. The first, when delegates are registered with the ARTP and receive their logins, and the second to be held shortly before OSCE practical assessments

3. The cost of registering with the ARTP for either full, performing, or reporting certificates (for either adults, paediatrics, or both), including access to ARTP portfolio systems and OSCE / MCQ assessments (as needed).
