Virtual Cauda Equina Syndrome (CES) Study Day

This study day is primarily focused on GPs and FCPs across the Severn and Peninsula Spinal Networks but some MSK Physiotherapists may find it of benefit also.
It is free to attend and will be recorded for sharing at a later date.
We are hosting on MS Teams in order to offer as many GPs and FCPs as possible the opportunity to drop in and out of sessions as required due to clinical commitments.
This event will be run collaboratively with The Cauda Equina Champions Charity.
A full agenda will be shared closer to the event, however the day will include:
- Patient stories
- An overview of the GIRFT CES Pathway
- CES Case Studies
- Bladder and Bowel management post CES
- Onward referral (ED vs MSK Interfaces) + Safety Netting/expectation management etc
- The impact of CES on relationships, mental health, chronic issues, sexual health
- The CES Champions Charity- CES App, what they charity can help with
