SUMMARY:Leading Through Effective Change
DESCRIPTION:➡️Introduction \nIn this workshop\, the focus will be placed on how best to introduce sustainable\, effective change to general practice. Leading through change requires transparent communication\, active empathy\, and structured\, visible leadership. Key approaches include building a shared vision; fostering employee engagement; modelling new behaviours; and creating short-term wins to maintain momentum. Effective leaders must also address the “why” behind the change; provide necessary training; and support emotional resilience. This workshop introduces tried and tested methods to apply/effect good change into general practice. \nCourse Content:\nThrough this workshop we will cover key approaches including:\n• How to best apply transparent and constant change-based communication.\n• The needs and benefits relating to empathy and support in the context of change.\n• How to best ‘Model the Change’.\n• The creation and development of a ‘Shared Vision’ to provide value to the change process.\n• The gains that can be realised through focusing on Short-Term Wins:\n• The benefits gained by the proactive approach to the removal of barriers. \nThe session will also introduce key change management models including:\n• Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model.\n• Prosci’s ADKAR Model.\n• Lewin’s Change Management Model.\n• McKinsey 7-S Framework: Kubler-Ross Five-Stage Model.\n• PDCA Cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act).\n• Nudge Theory.\n• Kaizen. \nIntended learning outcomes:\nThe workshop intends that on the conclusion of the session\, each delegate will:\nü Have better understanding of key ‘change’ approaches.\nü Have greater confidence in when\, how and why to introduce such approaches/models. \nThis course is suitable for: Practice managers\, business managers and partners \n💷Fees \nMembers £60 \nNon Members £105
