DESCRIPTION:Gloucester Guildhall\, Gloucester\nTuesday\, September 29 \n12 PM – 5 PM\n\n\nHelp Shape the Future of Neighbourhood Cancer Care Within Your Community.\n\n\n\nThe SWAG Cancer Alliance is inviting healthcare professionals\, community partners\, voluntary organisations\, patients and carers to take part in a co-design event that will help shape the future of Neighbourhood Cancer Care within your local area. \nAs part of the development of a Neighbourhood Cancer Care Framework across the South West\, we want to bring together the expertise\, insight and experience of those involved in supporting people affected by cancer. Your professional knowledge\, community perspective or lived experience will help shape a shared vision and practical roadmap for the future of cancer care within our neighbourhoods. \nWith neighbourhood-based care becoming an increasing focus for cancer services nationally\, this event will help shape how we deliver that vision locally. \nTogether\, we will explore: \n\nWhat great neighbourhood cancer care should look like in our area\nThe priorities and actions needed to make that vision a reality\nHow patients\, carers and communities can play a central role in shaping future services\n\nThe event will include presentations\, facilitated discussions and interactive workshops\, giving everyone an opportunity to share ideas\, experiences and perspectives. \nWho Should Attend? \nWe welcome anyone with a role in supporting people affected by cancer within their community\, including: \n\nHealthcare professionals\, clinicians and NHS leaders (primary and secondary care)\nRepresentatives from Integrated Care Boards (ICBs)\nLocal authority and social care colleagues\nVoluntary\, community\, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations\nPatients\, carers and people with lived experience of cancer\nCommunity representatives and local partners\n\nImportant Information \nPlaces are free\, but booking is essential.
