DESCRIPTION:During the session\, we will provide: \n\nAn overview of the ACP apprenticeship programme and entry requirements\nInformation about programme structure\, academic study and clinical supervision\nDetails of apprenticeship funding and support available (NHS England mitigation funding information provided)\nInsight into the four pillars of advanced clinical practice: clinical practice\, leadership and management\, education and research\nOpportunities to ask questions and hear about the experiences and benefits of undertaking the programme\n\nUndertaking the ACP apprenticeship offers practitioners the opportunity to: \n\nDevelop advanced assessment\, diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills\nEnhance autonomy and scope of practice within their clinical role\nStrengthen leadership and service improvement capabilities\nContribute to education\, mentorship and workforce development\nDevelop research awareness and evidence-based practice skills\nProgress their career within advanced clinical practice pathways\n\nCompletion of the programme enables practitioners to work at an advanced level across a range of healthcare settings\, supporting high-quality patient care\, improving service delivery and contributing to the future healthcare workforce.
