Partnership Support – Human Resources, Employment Law and Workforce Development.

This session is being delivered by PMA UK on Wednesday 6th November, 12pm-3pm.

PMA UK is an organisation that provides professional recognition, progressive development and career pathway support. They facilitate and promote best practice, offering education and support to those in primary care.

Workshop Overview

There are many legal considerations that partners need to be aware of including issues that regularly arise in medical practice that are often difficult to deal with concerning the critical human resource. This 3-hour web workshop will focus on employment law and your new responsibilities as an employer with guidance and advice on how to manage their human resource and deal with staffing challenges more effectively.

The module will be delivered with practical guidance to enable participants to map the techniques and outcomes onto their own practice.

Participants will improve their understanding of the current employment law and we will look at the HR implication as we shift to ‘Working at Scale’ and some of the issues you will need to consider. You will also receive a quick look at Absence Management and Succession Planning.
