While aimed towards Social Prescribing Link Worker (SPLW) in north east London, this guide has been created to
practically support new SPLWs you in their new role and covers a wide range of issues.
G Care – Home pageG Care is a local NHS service that is used by health professionals. It covers a wide range of information on conditions, referral pathways for patients and patient information leaflets. The G Care Pathway Menu on the site has a drop down Adult and Children & Young People (CYP) selection. Updated NHSE workforce frameworkUpdated NHSE workforce framework for SPLWs and their employers. This provides useful information of expected caseloads, supervision, training and more.
Workforce Development Framework: SPLW‘The Workforce Development Framework for SPLWs has now been published and provides guidance for people employed as SPLWs and those employing them. The Workforce Development Framework aims to increase understanding of the SPLW role and where SPLWs can have the most impact in supporting and empowering people to improve their health and wellbeing.’
