Widening opportunities for recruitment

Gloucestershire Primary Care training hub are working with Gloucestershire Employment and Skills hub to support a number of clients to enter or return to the workplace. This may include those with caring responsibilities, young people with care experience, people aged over 50, and veterans. Many of these individuals will have valuable life experience across health and care, which in turn may benefit patients in our practices. If your practice/PCN has a vacancy and would like to find out more about this programme, please complete the form below:

  • For people engaged with the employment and skills hub, Gloucestershire Employment and Skills hub would identify those who would be interested to work in a GP surgery or PCN
  • The training hub would run a virtual taster session for those interested to provide information about working in Primary Care (people will be supported by the employment and skills hub, if needed, to access the taster session)
  • For those who remain keen to seek employment in Primary Care, Gloucestershire Employment and Skills hub would look to match these people to practices who wish to participate, who would then undertake their usual recruitment process.
