HR support professionals are considered as key members of any successful organisation, delivering front-line support to managers and providing compliance guidance to staff.
How could a HR Support – Level 3 CIPD Apprenticeship qualification support the work of my team?
At Level 3 A HR support professionals can work in any size of organisation. Those undertaking this apprenticeship can support ownership and executing of a wide range of HR procedures within organisation policy and current law within your Practice/PCN.
Who is this Apprenticeship suitable for?
- HR Assistants
- HR/People Administrators, Assistants or Co-ordinators
- Anyone working in General Practice supporting or managing a HR Function supporting routine queries for staff and line managers.
Duration and commitment
- 16-month duration
- Remote with monthly web-based workshops
- Work-based
- 6 hours off the job training per week
- Closing date – 1st September 2026
Entry requirements:
Eligibility is set by individual employers, but typically includes:
- Five GCSEs (including English and maths) or equivalent OR relevant work experience

The CIPD element of the apprenticeship is a mandatory exam with BPP paying for learner CIPD registration and the exam fee, so zero cost to the apprentice/their employing organisation.
