Free Training to support staff/volunteers who are blind or partially sighted

Gloucestershire Primary Care Training Hub has partnered with the Thomas Pocklington Trust to offer training for colleagues working in General Practice 2026 which could help you and your team feel more confident your services are as accessible as possible for blind, or partially sighted, colleagues and patients.

Who delivers training?  Training is delivered by Thomas Pocklington Trust, by a person with lived experience of sight loss and fully blind.
How many people can attend?Minimum of 6 up to maximum of 15 employees/volunteers
What do you need to provide?A training room large enough for up to 15 people, could be at a GP Practice. A contact for trainer who can support a fully blind trainer navigate to training room and provide practical support for the session
