Boost your confidence and gain your English Level 2 Functional Skills (equivalent to GCSE Grade 4/C)
This course is fully funded. Functional skills qualifications are essential for many purposes, including:
- Applying for a job: Most roles require GCSEs (Grade 4/C) in English.
- Improving confidence and skills: For upskilling you in your English skills and if English is your second language.
- Entry higher level apprenticeships: Many degree-level routes require this qualification to meet university entry criteria.
- Completion of an apprenticeship: Many apprenticeship levels require evidence of English qualifications.
Course details
- Weekly, face‑to‑face sessions in English
- 18‑week programme delivered at face to face at Invista, Brockworth.
- Workshops comprise two hours per week delivered within the working week, plus two hours of independent study
- Led by a dedicated Functional Skills tutor providing full support
- Exams will take place at the end of the programme
