Are you new to Primary Care or do you know a colleague who is? The Primary Care Training Hub run regular online induction sessions to support people starting work in Primary Care, across all roles.
The induction session will include:
- An overview of the structure of General Practice/Primary Care (how do GP surgeries work, what is a PCN and an ICB)
- How the Training Hub can support you
- An overview of Primary Care
- The role of General Practice, PCNs and roles
- Training, education, and supervision
- The aims of the NHS 10-year plan
- Health Inequalities
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Health and Wellbeing
- Personalised Care
- Apprenticeships
- Pharmacy First
- Plus a range of other topics, along with an opportunity to interact with other colleagues new to Primary Care
In addition to the above, an induction pack containing a wealth of resources will be sent to you after the session.
