An Introduction to Coaching Conversations Training

Gloucestershire Primary Care Training are pleased to offer an introductory training session on coaching conversations at work. As this is an introduction to coaching conversations, we particularly welcome administrative, reception, care navigator staff, aspiring team leaders and those that support or manage other members of staff in general practice to help to empower coaching conversations in the workplace.

Coaching offers a positive approach for personal and professional development and encouragement which can be used in many ways. This can be used as an approach within formal conversations and appraisals, and simply and easily used in our daily interactions to facilitate encouraging and supportive conversations between colleagues. This training will be provided to each interested group within a face to face or virtual training session with local Gloucestershire GP coaches, Dr Sarah Richards and Dr Laura Patterson. This training will be tailored to the participating groups. The first session will be taking place face to face on the morning of Tuesday 17th March at Dowty Sports & Social Club. If you would like to join in and develop your coaching conversations express your interest by completing the form below.

The training hub will be requesting a £50/ attendee contribution towards the training from practices. Unfortunately, funding is limited and there have been issues with non-attendance at previous funded training sessions, we would therefore ask that by registering for this training, there is commitment to ensure attendance.
