PWDS Neurodiversity Workforce Champion Training – for Pharmacists
WDS are pleased to announce that we have added new dates for our Neurodiversity Workforce Champion Training Programme.
This training is an impactful, multi-professional programme designed to build awareness, understanding, and confidence around neurodivergence in the workplace, creating champions who help foster inclusion and belonging for everyone.
· Part 1: Join a 2.5-hour online webinar introducing neurodivergence, including key topics like sensory processing, executive functioning, and diagnostic criteria.
· Part 2: All day online session exploring the law, reasonable adjustments, and real-life case studies to support confident conversations with neurodivergent colleagues.
Upon completion, participants will become Neurodiversity Workforce Champions in their workplaces—helping break down barriers so all team members can work to their full potential.
The training aligns with the City and Guilds recommendations from their Neurodiversity Index Report 2024, NHS England Safe Learning Environment Charter, recommendations in the Royal College of Midwives Neurodivergence report 2025, SSHINE (Staff & Student Healthcare Initiative for Neurodiversity and Equity) recommendations and Inclusive Pharmacy Practice.
