Are you an apprentice in Primary Care, or a practice that currently has an apprentice? The Primary Care Apprenticeship Awards are back for 2025.
Would you like to celebrate your apprentices’ achievement and successes and highlight the fantastic work they do to care for our patients? If so please take a few moments to nominate them for the Gloucestershire Primary Care Training Hub 2025 Apprenticeship Awards.
Categories for Nomination are –
- Non Clinical Apprentice of the Year
- Clinical Apprentice of the Year
- Apprenticeship Mentor of the Year
Nominations should be made via the Online Form – which can be accessed here.
Entries will be reviewed by a panel of Judges and winners will be selected in each category.
Winners will receive a training grant towards their personal development.
Entries are open until 28th February, with winners announced shortly thereafter.

Tracey Carruthers – Advanced Practice Apprentice, one of our Winners of 2025, has provided us with the below update.
“Commencing the advanced practitioner apprenticeship programme has been one of the best decisions for developing my nursing career. I have received robust support and guidance, and provided the tools to excel, both practically and academically, across all four pillars of advanced practice. This has shown to benefit not only the patients within my practice, but also my team, and my own value as an autonomous practitioner. I have gained a new sense of curiosity, awareness and reasoning skills to reflect and innovate within general practice. I look forward to future learning and sharing education to improve the quality of care in today’s ever growing health service.”
