Gloucestershire Frailty Network inaugural meeting – falls and fallers

Date: Tuesday 20th September

Time: 18:00 – 20:00

Location: Sanger House, Brockworth, GL3 4FE

The Frailty Network intends to hold meetings every two months in a relaxed  forum where you can meet others with similar interests in the care of people living with frailty.

Each meeting will have an educational element focused on one issue. This first meeting will focus on falls and fallers. You are invited to come along, learn how others tackle the issue and find out what seems to work.  The meeting will give you the opportunity to:

  • Make new contacts in other disciplines and across the county.
  • Learn about best practice.
  • Discover how other manage difficult problems.

There will be a light finger buffet available from 18:00 and the meeting is FREE for those who book a place by emailing idonald485@gmail.com. (The group has a small amount of funding; the network is not sponsored by pharma). The meeting and talks will begin around 18:45 and will finish a little after 20:00.

For further information and for any ideas about future meetings and how the network could be developed, please email Dr Ian Donald (idonald485@gmail.com).
