One Gloucestershire and City of Bristol College are running a 14-month programme for you to achieve a Level 3 apprenticeship, enhance your job skills and competencies, and work towards a nationally recognised qualification – this is FREE for you and your employer. If you need functional skills (Maths and English training), this is included. The apprenticeship starts in September 2026.
At zero training cost for your practice (noting your practice/PCN will need to support- 6 hours ‘applied learning’ per week), the Level 3 Community Health and Wellbeing Worker apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for individuals working in or alongside primary care to develop the skills, confidence and knowledge to make a real difference to patients and local communities. It equips staff to build trusted relationships, support personalised care, address the wider causes of poor health, and connect people to the right community, voluntary and statutory services, helping to improve wellbeing, reduce health inequalities and prevent issues from escalating.
How Could a level 3 Community Health and Wellbeing Worker apprentice support the work of my team?
For GP practice this apprenticeship will create
